ROUTES AFRICA: Tenerife Seeks African Air Services

The geographic location of the Canary Islands means they are well positioned to boost air connectivity between Europe and Africa and perhaps act as a transit point to other markets.? With strong leisure demand and therefore notable point-to-point demand, Tenerife Tourism Corporation is exploring new route opportunities in markets across the continent and is very close to agreeing new air services into at least three countries across North and West Africa with confirmation of the first new route expected as early as the middle of next week.
