The Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business at Westminster College invites applicants for the Gore-Giovale Chair in Business Innovation
starting Fall 2013. The position involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level and conducting research focusing on highly
innovative organizations. Also, in an effort to create new learning, research and experiential opportunities for Westminster's students and
faculty, the position will cultivate relationships with W.L. Gore & Associates, and will develop tools and resources to help faculty
increase their knowledge and scholarship in innovative management and organizational practices.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in a business discipline, economics or a technical field. The ideal candidate will also have experience researching, publishing and consulting with innovative companies such as W. L. Gore & Associates. In addition, consistent with the values and traditions of Westminster College, the applicant will be an impassioned and compelling educator who inspires students to learn, and challenges them to achieve their maximum potential. A clearly articulated teaching philosophy is required.
The Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business provides a full range of business undergraduate degrees as well as graduate degrees in business administration, business administration in technology management, and accounting. Unique low residency degrees are also offered in both the United States and China. The programs are supported by the Center for Financial Analysis, the Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Center for China-America Business Studies.
